It was a strong match for getting around Madrid with very nice value for money. The breakfast was surprisingly good, including fresh fruit and eggs, making mornings a real treat. Make sure to book ahead for a quieter room if possible.

Let me tell you, the grilled meat around here is great! I devoured some amazing dishes at El 34 Pinchos Bar just a hop away at 0.3 km, and Casa Alberto had very nice tapas that were pure bliss. Plus, the location is unbeatable, and the staff were genuinely helpful with any questions we had.
Now, on the flip side, we experienced a hiccup when the A/C failed for two nights. While the rooms were a tad small with old furniture, the real kicker was the tiny bathroom-we basically had to jump into the old bathtub!

I greatly enjoyed incredibly kind employees!
The setting was marvellous, just off Atocha train station, the Palace and Plaza Mayor. The double room was large with very high quality linens and windows facing inner yard.

Reasonably good breakfast option with bacon and eggs, toast and also juices. Location - excellent, really close to all main attractions in Madrid and historical sites, great shopping, great restaurants, terrific night life. Private parking nearby provided.

missingWrote a review on 19 Octfresh towelsthin wallsyellow shower water
The hotel provided fresh towels daily .
Unfortunately, the noise from the adjacent rooms was unbearable. Thin walls made it impossible to get a good night's sleep, as I heard everything from conversations to laughter late into the night. The shower water had a yellow tint, quite alarming and made me hesitant to use it.

Good location close to places of interest
We had a room in accomadation across the road. Room good but noisy at night. We had trouble getting in to the accomadation at night as it was locked and found the person on reception rude.

The staff was extremely helpful and efficient on handling all request. This hostal came recommended by a coworker. I will definitely do the same for anyone traveling to Madrid. Thank you very much and I will see you on my next trip back.

The location was perfect. We walked to the Centro Deportivo Municipal la Elipa and loved the vibrant nightlife! The staff was friendly and super helpful. Breakfast was tasty, and the room was cozy. A great place for groups, and we were able to enjoy everything without needing much public transport.
The only downside was that the area was quite noisy at night. It made it a bit tough to get solid sleep after long days exploring.

We stayed in the building on the other side of the road, in a small street. Don't know if it is part of Hostal Cervelo or if it's another hostal. But sure, it was a perfect room and bathroom.
There was a little noise from the other rooms.

The room was clean and spacious, even with a kid's bed for our toddler. We really appreciated the helpful staff who provided us with a kettle right away. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom had everything we needed. Just a little downside, the room didn't have much natural light, a bummer.
